We believe that therapy is an essential service that everyone could benefit from at some point in their lives, and that a required diagnosis is a barrier to accessing good care. Just because you attend therapy does not mean that you have an illness or a disorder that requires a permanent label.

Most of our clients are private pay, because they enjoy the privacy and do not wish to have a mental health diagnosis attached to their medical records. Also, insurance companies like to control the length and the number of sessions they’ve decided you need.

Paying out of pocket gives you control over the number of sessions with us, length of session, your health records, and the freedom to choose the services you need.

  • Depending on the reasons you are seeking out therapy, what you can expect to get out of therapy differs. Generally, many clients are seeking clarity around a certain issue, want to break the cycle of bad habits, or need advice and counsel about a current life situation. Whatever is going on for you, hopefully therapy will make it easier by providing clarity, relief, confidence, or whatever you feel you need at this time.

  • We offer therapy for individuals (Children, Adolescent, Adult), couples, and family. We also offer different styles of therapy like Expressive Arts Therapy and Spiritual Direction to serve various needs of our clients.

  • This varies from person to person. Some people feel a sense of relief after the first session, while for others it may take multiple sessions to start feeling a shift.

  • This is a great question… It's important to feel comfortable and safe with your therapist. The best way to know if we are a match is by doing a free consultation so we can speak and get a feel for each other. Usually we can determine if we’d be a good match after one conversation.
